It runs in a northeast-southwest direction starting from 64th Street and crosses Beech Street, Oak Street, Maple Street, Walnut Street, Linden Street, Locust Street and Lombardy Street and ends at Township Avenue. Highland Avenue also exists in Blue Ash, Lockland, Silverton, Norwood and Columbia Township.
